🩸 Blood Donation Campaign in Conjunction with World Primary Immunodeficiency (PI) Week 2026
About the Campaign
In conjunction with World Primary Immunodeficiency Week 2026 (WPIW26), this Blood Donation Campaign is organised to support individuals living with Primary Immunodeficiency (PID) while raising awareness of these often hidden and underdiagnosed conditions in Malaysia.
Primary Immunodeficiency affects the body’s ability to fight infections. Many patients rely on life-saving treatments such as immunoglobulin therapy, which is derived from donated blood plasma. This means that every blood donation is more than just an act of kindness—it is a lifeline.
Why It Matters
For individuals living with PID, treatment is not a one-time solution—it is lifelong. Access to immunoglobulin therapy is essential for their survival and quality of life, and this depends on the generosity of blood donors.
Your donation helps ensure that patients can continue receiving the care they need to live healthier, fuller lives.
Our Objectives
- To support the continuous supply of blood and plasma for medical use
- To increase public awareness of Primary Immunodeficiency
- To encourage early detection and timely treatment
- To build a more caring and supportive community
